What Am I Thinking? ROW80

I’m going to admit, I didn’t really look into what this thing was really about but when Jen Kirchner tells you to do something, you do it. She can get mean. So here I am tackling ROW80. What is it? Well I’m glad you asked you ignorant bastard. ROW80 is an 80 day writing challenge. You set your own goals and check in once a week via your blog to tell people that you really didn’t have time to write this week and beg for forgiveness. The entire thing starts tomorrow (July 5th) and ends…umm…80 days after that. So here are my goals.

GOALS

Some people know I’m starting a novella. Most people don’t. Well only 2 people really know: Jen and Tiff. My cheerleaders.

So I want to get a good chunk of this novella done in the 80 days. At the same time, I will finishing off Zombies and starting Zombies 2. Wait, did I just announce a sequel? I DID. Now get over it. I’m going to focus on both of these during ROW80. Each Zombies chapter runs an average of 1500 words. So that’s a given. Each week, 1500 words for Zombies. On top of that, I want to throw at least 800 words into my Novella. If I finish Zombies before the 80 days are up, the 1500 words get added to the novella. So there it is. The goal may not be huge but I’m just jumping into a whole new career here and I don’t want to bite off more than I can chew. Zombie joke.
